please be "warn" that it's indeed a "princess" day when you wear these temp tips as you have to be extra gentle and no using of your nails to open can-drink, etc...

little tip on gluing the temp nails onto our nails: gentle press down the fake nail onto the nailbed for a 30s-60s. make sure the edge and sides of the nails are fully glued. for best result, please do not wash your hands within or at least an hour after the gluing.

yun really got a nice toenails which is big enough for nail art!
she amazed me initially with the damn long toenails which she hasn't be trimming for the past weeks. it's even more amazing that the nails actually showed signs of chipping off already, yet they just stay put on her toes until i can't help and have no choice but to cut them off then.

130210 - The Chua sisters

Did a spa manicure and full set nail art for Irene on the cny eve. She got a really nice nail shapes for me to work out on the nail art, a bit too bad that her index fingernail chip off just before she has this manicure with me...

















After completing Irene's, here come her sister Annie. She got a real small nails, however their shape are all in rectangular -- nice! Perhaps slightly longer grow in her nails length will be perfect for a nail art. Who say small nails can't do anything? haahaa~ Everything will be "mini", isn't that cute and sweet too?

Callus and the Treatment

A callus (tyloma) is an area of skin that thickens after exposure to repetitive forces in order to protect the skin. A callus may not be painful. When it becomes painful, medical treatment is required.

When a callus develops a mass of dead cells in its center, it becomes a corn (heloma). Corns generally occur on the toes and balls of the feet. Calluses occur on the feet, hands, and any other part of the skin where friction is present.

Factors outside the body that can cause calluses and corns from friction and stress:

• Ill-fitting shoes or socks
  
  
• Bunching of socks or socks with seams by the toes
  
  
• Manual labor
  
  
• Not wearing shoes
  
  
• Activities that increase stress applied to the skin of the hands and feet, such as athletic events

Everyone is bound to have at least bit of callus or hard-sole-skin, UNLESS the someone doesn't walk at all. So, please bear in mind that we can only soften our callus, it can't be removed wholly. Only dry hard skin can be recovered with some lotion/oint apply.

Here, it's a NO-NO advise and one is not encourage to cut off the hard-skin from your sole as it will create visible lines at the back of your sole. Imagine some dirt got trap in between the lines created by the cutting... It won't look nice when you are wearing an open high heel. And, on the other hand, you are making your callus even harder when they grow again.
